Q: How do I register DVD Snap 2?

Step one: Please check your e-mails and pick the one called “Thanks for your purchase” sent from Kagi.

Step two: Copy your license key using the shortcut Command + C or Menu > Edit > Copy. You’ll find your key underneath “thank you for purchasing DVD Snap 2!”.

Step three: Launch DVD Snap 2 and press “Continue” on DVD Snap’ 2 welcome window until you see the registration fields.

Q: What’s the difference between “Single Snap” and “Timed Snap”?

Single Snap takes only one screenshot when you press the snap button in the left lower corner or by entering your self defined hotkey. This setting is ideal if you want to capture your favorite scenes.
Timed Snap takes screenshots in a certain time interval which you can set up starting from 0.5 seconds up to 600. We would recommend you this setting if you want to capture a lot of screnshots or a entire movie.

Q: How do I define my hotkey?

Step one: Please go to the hotkey settings and activate it by clicking “Enable hotkey”. This option lets you take a picture using your hotkey without bringing DVD Snap 2 to the foreground.

Step two: Now you are ready to define your hotkey. At first decide whether your shortcut starts with Command, Shift, Option and/or Control. Next click on “No hotkey defined” and enter a key of your own choice. For example your hotkey could be “Command + Shift + W”. Finally, press “Enter” to confirm your choice.
